How It Works

One night,
told in five steps.

Setup is a couple of minutes. After that, Benji runs in the background, every night, on quiet feet.

i.
8:00 PM · Setup (one time)

Tell Benji your bedtime.

Pick the time you want to be asleep — say, 10:15 PM — and the time you want to wake. Benji works backwards to schedule a routine alarm for your wind-down.

ii.
Setup, continued

Build your routine.

Pick steps from the library — brush teeth, read, stretch, shower — or write your own. Benji tallies the total time so you know when to start.

iii.
9:42 PM · Tonight

The routine alarm rings.

Tap "Start Routine." The blocker arms. The steps appear. Check them off as you finish.

iv.
10:15 PM – 6:30 AM

Distractions, blocked.

Open a blocked app and Benji intercepts with a gentle "not right now." Spend sparks for a few minutes if you really need it. Otherwise, the night belongs to you.

v.
6:30 AM · Morning

Benji wakes you up.

A gentle wake-up alarm. Apps unlock automatically. Your streak ticks up by one. Coffee.

That’s the whole loop.

Tomorrow, it runs again. Better sleep, by repetition.
